Exeter gets Driving Green
From 22nd - 25th September, the Driving green show will be at Exeter's Guidhall Shopping Centre. The anticipated highlight of the show will be Nissan's new car, the Leaf. Nissan's all electric car is creating a lot of industry interest. Come on down to the Driving Green show where you can see the car and arrange a test drive. If you drive up to 40 miles a day, locally, then you may be in for.

Since 2007 - PCH have produced DrivingGreen® shows across the UK - delivering key messages to driving consumers in highly targeted and populated venues.

This information is aimed at increasing the awareness of driving 'greener' - both in terms of improving driving habits and the benefits of new 'greener' car model ownership.

Driving Green® events have proven to be a successful and powerful, unique method to deliver key environmental messages as well as being a successful commercial event for associated sponsors.

Strategic partners such as Energy Savings Trust, Department of Transport have recognised the effectiveness of delivering information in this way and have been keen to support the events.

Local and regional environmental organisations have also added to the quality of Driving Green® events, creating an educational and interactive experience for visitors.

Driving Green® events have also been supported by environmentally conscious motor manufacturers, wishing to delivery their own eco-messages to the British public.

Driving Green® has delivered events across the UK at key locations, including supermarkets, retail shopping centres and outlet villages.

Branding
Our strong branding achieves a fresh, friendly approachable display, encouraging visitors to engage with event staff and receive the key messages being delivered.

Key Messages
The Driving Green® messages are clear and simple. They aim to educate visitors about how they can adapt their driving habits and techniques to reduce their impact on the environment at the same time as making significant financial savings.

As a forward thinking initiative, Driving Green® constantly responds to feedback from visitors and social demands for better, more efficient ways to communicate to and engage with the British public. With the aim to helping to improve their motoring habits for both environmental and personal financial reasons.

In 2011 Driving Green® aims to take significant steps forward in terms of both the number of events across the UK and the way in which we interact and engage with visitors.

Work is currently being undertaken to develop the Driving Green® web site, to become an interactive portal enabling visitors to be educated and involved.

A significant development will be the Driving Green® Pledge. This will allow visitors to enter their information and to make a selection of the activities that they 'pledge' to reduce the damaging effect their motoring currently produces.

It is aimed that regular contact be made with visitors who take the Driving Green® Pledge, to monitor the success of their intentions using data from these activities. This will help to provide a snapshot of how the British public actually feel and respond to driving greener.

In addition, at Driving Green® events, visitors will be issued with a Driving Green® Vehicle Check Card, which is intended to be kept within their vehicle and work as a constant reminder of greener driving tips as well as other vital vehicle information.
